sleep well x

heart attack & drugs

I dont know if it is the result of my heart attack or the prescription drugs, but I have gone from someone who slept soundly through the night to someone who sleeps in phases with a wakeful phase or two in between.

So I might sleep 11pm through to 5am, then 6am to 9am and maybe 10am-11am. Usually the alarm goes off at 7am, so I don't get the later phases which means I really struggle with work in the afternoon & could sleep then if I have the opportunity.

I suspect the Ramipril is causing some sleep disruption. Sleep was more disrupted/anxious on a higher dose.

Has anyone else noticed something similar after a heart attack?

Please comment, no matter how old this post is.
Has anyone experience of using a CPAP machine in-flight?  Do any airlines support this?

welcome!!!

just thought i'd best put up a post so this place doesn't look totally bare...

...i've created this community as a means of support for all sufferers of sleep disorders in the UK, mainly as a result of belonging to the
sleep_disorders community and feeling a bit out of place because we don't have anywhere near the amount of money-related issues that our US counterparts do...

...so yeah- welcome!
